Making Connections: Commenting on each other's coursework

 I gave comments to Aileen (Creative Coding), Brigid (Scanography), Jane (Video), Jiwon (Digital Collage), Joyce (Stop Motion), Kate (Sound), and Mila (Digital Storytelling). I left one comment per person and per unit. The reason I did this is that I wanted to give my thoughts and reflect on the first 7 units. I wanted to look at 7 different people’s artwork with the 7 different topics, so I can get an idea of what inspires and drives people to make the artwork that they do. I also used a random name wheel generator to continue one of my personal learning objectives, to trust my hands more than my anxious brain. I did this in a way to not let my hands, but more of the computer, make the choice of what people's artwork should look at, rather than my anxious brain. This exercise reminded me why I love art. It’s not just about the art itself, but the person behind it. Everyone is creative in their own way, and that process is a long, winding road we’re all traveling together.
