I found this project interesting as it's so simple yet so intriguing. I enjoyed the repetition of the bird jumping over the eggs. It showed me how games don't have to be so complicated to be engaging.
Creative Assignment Part 2: Dino Egg Jumper
Honestly, this project felt like I wanted to throw my computer out the window. There’s nothing quite like a screen full of red error messages to make you question every life choice you’ve ever made. Especially when you’re not used to coding. Building a website is one thing, but a game is a whole different beast. I was going to give up until I started watching some instructional videos from a YouTuber named Zinnea and Scratch Tutorial, who helped make the process a lot easier. The internet is a literal lifesaver here. It made me realize how grateful I am to have access to the internet, so I can find tutorials to get through the process without just relying on pure luck, and make a fun game. Would I do this again for fun… NO! But this was a really cool learning experience that students of all ages could benefit from as an introduction to coding.
